Ava Jones currently works as a non union production designer. She was introduced to art department work in October 2016, when she and her former partner Jordan Grossman collaborated on the design and fabrication of a multi-room set to promote the series premiere of “Young Sheldon”. From there, she continued to grow within the world of set design and props, and has since gained experience working on editorials, music videos, commercials, and feature length films.

Each new project presents Ava with a unique set of challenges that support her ever-evolving set of skills. Her research is based heavily on the history of film and theatre design, interiors through the eras, and representations of everyday life.

Ava resides in Altadena, and if she is not out shopping, fabricating props, or on set, you can find her skateboarding or hanging out at home with her cats.
